JADS x Den Bosch

The connection between JADS and the City of Den Bosch

JADS (Jheronimus Academy of Data Science) is deeply rooted in the city of Den Bosch. As one of the founding partners, alongside the Province of North Brabant, Eindhoven University of Technology, and Tilburg University, the city has been a crucial supporter from the very beginning. This partnership has allowed JADS to grow into a hub for data science education and research that benefits not only students but also the broader community.

Collaboration beyond education

Our collaboration with the city goes beyond education. Together with the Municipality of Den Bosch, local businesses, and organizations, JADS has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at helping companies embrace the potential of data science. This cooperation is showcased in events like Data Week NL, where we open our doors to visitors, students, and businesses alike to share knowledge and inspire new ideas.

Jheronimus Bosch

JADS proudly bears the name of Den Bosch’s most famous artist, Jheronimus Bosch. Just as he pushed boundaries in the art world, we aim to pioneer in the world of science. Our historic building in the heart of Den Bosch not only connects us to the city’s rich heritage but also helps to solidify the city’s growing reputation as a true student city.

Improving the local living environment

Through innovative research projects like the Smart City Monitor and the City Deal Kennis Maken, JADS is committed to improving the local living environment, bringing both technological advancements and practical solutions to the city we call home.

At JADS, we are honored to be a part of Den Bosch’s vibrant community and are excited to continue our journey together, contributing to its future growth and development.
