JADS launches Lustrum theme and logo: Next Level in Data & AI

2026 marks a special milestone for JADS: we celebrate our 10th anniversary, our Lustrum. This week, we officially kicked off our lustrum with the launch of our anniversary theme and logo. Throughout the coming months, we will celebrate a decade of collaboration, innovation and impact through events, stories and reflections on the people and partnerships behind 10 years of JADS.
The launch took place during our annual staff barbecue, where colleagues received the first anniversary hoodies featuring the new lustrum logo. More importantly, it marked the start of a celebration period dedicated not only to celebrating the past, but also to looking ahead.
Next Level in Data & AI
Next Level in Data & AI is our anniversary theme. It builds on ten years of progress and sets the direction for what comes next.
There is always a next level. Every organisation, from startup to multinational, can continue to grow in the way it applies data and AI. Over the past ten years, JADS has helped students, professionals and organisations take those next steps by connecting research, education and real-world challenges.
As JADS enters its next phase, the theme also reflects our own ambition. Entering the new phase of JADS, we continue to build on what we’ve learned, strengthen our collaborations and help our partners and students take their next steps in data & AI.
A year of stories, events and celebration
Over the coming months, our anniversary program will highlight the people, partnerships and milestones that have defined the first ten years of JADS. Throughout the coming months, we’ll share inspiring interviews, impact stories, throwbacks and opportunities to (re)connect with the JADS community.

Two major anniversary events are already on the calendar:
📅 24 November 2026 – JADS Lustrum Symposium
A forward-looking symposium bringing together partners, alumni and the wider JADS network to explore the next developments in data & AI, strengthen existing collaborations and create new connections.
📅 26 November 2026 – First-ever JADS Lustrum Gala
For the first time in our history, JADS will host a Lustrum Gala for students, alumni, current and former colleagues to celebrate ten years of JADS together.
