JADS students return to INTRO Festival in Den Bosch after five years
Posted onDen Bosch once again hosted the annual INTRO Festival, welcoming new students from all educational levels to kick off the academic year. This year’s festival is special as it marks the return of JADS students, who are participating for the first time since 2019.
The festival, held at Festivalterrein De Vliert, welcomed approximately 4100 visitors, who enjoyed a day filled with live music from, among others, Stuk, Trobi, VE/RA and Bart van Dishoek, as well as interactive booths, and opportunities for students to connect. Among the attendees were some very enthusiastic JADS students, who joined their peers from various educational institutions in Den Bosch.
Den Bosch is increasingly known as a true student city, with a diverse range of educational institutions, including MBO schools, HBO institutions like Avans Hogeschool and Fontys Den Bosch, and of course, the university-level programs at JADS. This mix creates a rich and inclusive student life that benefits everyone.
A vital connection to the city
Charles Erkelens, Managing Director at JADS, is excited about returning to the INTRO Festival. “We are happy to be back at the INTRO Festival this year. It’s a great opportunity for our students to feel part of the larger student community in Den Bosch. Being involved in city-wide events like this helps our students build connections and feel at home in this city.”
For JADS, participating in the INTRO Festival is an important way to help our students integrate into the academic and social life of Den Bosch. JADS is proud to contribute to the dynamic, innovative, and collaborative environment that defines the city.
