Biography

Currently, I am a PhD Candidate at the JADS Institute in the Netherlands, where I am working in the Safeguard Lab in collaboration with Deloitte. My research focuses on developing methodologies that facilitate the auditing of dependable characteristics of Machine Learning-powered systems.

I graduated from Politecnico di Milano with a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering in Spring 2024. My graduation coincided with my completion of an internship in Research and Development at Alten Labs in Sophia Antipolis, France, where I completed my thesis titled “Universal Personal Privacy Agent: Towards Interoperability Between Self-Sovereign Identity and Personal Data Stores.”

Prior to my Master’s studies, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electronic, and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Parma in October 2021. During my internship at the university’s Distributed Systems Group, I completed my Bachelor’s thesis entitled “Simulation of N-Tier Fog Systems with Dynamic Service Placement.”
