I heard something about a change from PDEng to EngD, what is happening?

To avoid confusion and to keep the difference in education clear, the four technical universities decided jointly to change the name from PDEng to EngD. The reason for this name change is that the universities of applied sciences (HBO) in the Netherlands will have their own doctorate programs starting September 2022, which will be named Professional Doctorate (PD).
