What is the difference between EngD and PhD in data science?
JADS offers the Engineering Doctorate Data Science EngD program. This two-year post-master’s program qualifies its students to become top-level professional data scientists. The EngD program is a more industry-oriented alternative to PhD with data driven opportunities for businesses. Whilst a PhD is focused on a career as an independent researchers, an EngD prepares a trainee for an industrial career as a technological designer. As a student you work closely with a company with a real life case, and as a business your work together with the EngD data science trainees on the development of new models specifically for the organization.
