The International Data Science Film Festival is the world first -and therefore coolest- film festival in the world dedicated to data science. IDSFF discovers, celebrates and challenges the role of data science in our society.
Basically, we aim to adjust brightness.
The festival offers four days of films, panels, discussions, Q&A’s and networking opportunities. It draws innovators, scientists, filmmakers, critics and thought-leaders to discuss the state of affairs and the future of our society.
While the COVID-19 virus is slowly releasing its grip on our lives, we are happy to announce that IDSFF21 will be a physical and live event. We can responsibly celebrate the fact that we can meet each other face to face at the start of the new academic year.
From Aug 26 to 29th 2021, IDSFF will descend on the Mariënburg Convent, home of Jheronimus Academy of Data Science (JADS), in the city center of ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Here, people will gather to watch and listen, to participate and celebrate.
Our world is changing rapidly and irreversibly, and at the heart of this change lies data. Data science has become key to understand developments in technology, environmental change, political power shifts, crime prevention and everything else that concerns our lives. However, insights and change do not necessarily lead to a more inclusive and democratic society.
