The RESTRETCH project, launching in October 2023, aims to revolutionize supply chain risk management through the innovative concept of reverse stress testing. In collaboration with Wageningen University (WUR) and industry partners, Jheronimus Academy of Data Science (JADS) will develop data analytics methods to identify worst-case scenarios and trace them back to root causes. This approach helps pinpoint critical failure points, enhancing preparedness for extreme disruptions. By integrating real-world supply chain practices as use cases, RESTRETCH will bridge theoretical frameworks with practical applications. The project, running for three years, seeks to improve supply chain resilience, disseminating insights through academic publications, professional articles, and educational curricula, ultimately fostering a robust framework for managing supply chain risks.
